Opening Your Prestige...

Your first Prestige syringe should have been opened for you by your dentist, but if you’ve forgotten how to open your Prestige gels, don’t worry!

HERE IS HOW!

  • Open your Prestige gel by unscrewing the protective cap.
  • You’ll find a precision nozzle hidden in the hollow plunger of your syringe - take this out and screw it into the end of your syringe. Remove the tip (keep it safe to reseal your gel after use).
  • Your whitening gel is ready to go!

using your prestige...

Step 1

Brush your teeth thoroughly before use, using your special Prestige Desensitiser included. Rinse your mouth with water. Next, take your whitening tray, and place a small drop of whitening gel on the front surface of each tooth shaped indent as shown by your dentist.

Step 2

Place the trays in your mouth, ensuring a tight and comfortable fit. Push your trays back against your teeth to make sure there are no air bubbles.  Wipe any excess gel off with a tissue. Do not rinse your mouth - otherwise you’ll wash away your whitening gel!

Step 3

We recommend wearing your trays overnight for the best results. To avoid swallowing the whitening gel, don’t eat or drink when wearing your trays.

Step 4

After each use, rinse your mouth and your trays thoroughly with cold water. Brush your teeth with your special Prestige Desensitiser again.  Keep your trays safe and clean when not in use, storing them inside the tray case provided.

Step 5

After 2 weeks, your smile should be a gorgeous, natural white shade! Go out and show off your sparkling smile! Keep your smile shining after your treatment has ended using our Prestige Whitening Polish to scrub away stains.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

My teeth are sensitive - is this normal?

Sensitivity is a common side effect of whitening, and usually goes away quickly after the end of your treatment. If you’re worried about any sensitivity, speak to your dentist immediately.

What do I do if my teeth are sensitive?

Sensitivity can be reduced by spreading your treatment out to every other day, rather than every day. This will make your treatment take longer (4 weeks) but will reduce sensitivity by giving your teeth longer to recover between doses of whitening.

If you experience extreme sensitivity, discontinue use and contact your dentist for advice.

It’s been 2 weeks but my teeth aren’t as white as I wanted them to be. What should I do?

Some people have teeth that are more resistant to whitening than others, and require a bit more perseverance. If you feel like your teeth aren’t as white as you hoped after 2 weeks of treatment and you feel like the colour is still getting whiter, you can keep going until you reach the results you want. Consult your dentist for further advice.

Is Prestige vegetarian?

Yes! We’re vegetarian friendly with zero animal testing.

We’re also Halal!

I’m allergic to nuts, can I still use Prestige?

Our formula and factory are nut free, and should be suitable for allergy sufferers, however we cannot 100% guarantee no nuts.

How do I maintain my smile after treatment?

To maintain your white smile, you’ll need to adopt a simple top-up regime. Check our table below.

Year 1

One night every 2 months

Year 2

One night every 3 months

Year 3 onwards

One night every 6 months

It’s important to avoid activities that may stain your new white smile. Coffee, wine, and cigarettes all have the potential to stain teeth. You can protect your new smile by quitting smoking and reducing your coffee and alcohol intake.

If you do drink anything that might stain your teeth, don’t worry (we can’t live without our morning brew either), just use a straw to minimise the contact with your whitened teeth.
